Does a basic, new copy of Dragon Age: Origins come with Shale and the Blood Dragon armor?

My friend bought the collectors edition a while back and got these two pieces of content, but I looked online and it said that you just have to have a new copy to get these two. Can the new copy be basic?I just bought Dragon Age online (a new copy) I'd really like to have that armor for Mass Effect 2.Does a basic, new copy of Dragon Age: Origins come with Shale and the Blood Dragon armor?
It does come with both codes...i bought the regular edition from Walmart right after christmas and i got the code Shale on one side and on the other side was the code for the armor on Mass Effect 2..which i dont even play...if it turns out that it would cost extra to get this armor, message me and ill give you my code...because it is highly unlikely that i will ever choose to play that game...Does a basic, new copy of Dragon Age: Origins come with Shale and the Blood Dragon armor?
A new copy(doesn't matter which version) should come with the code for Shale (saving you 1200 Microsoft points, or at least it cost that much to buy that download by itself), however you will not likely get the Blood Dragon armor. The armor was a pre-order bonus and since most of the Collector's Editions of the game was supposed to be for pre-order only (the place your friend got it from might have had a few copies that didn't get pre-ordered or didn't get picked up for a pre-order), so it's not likely you'll be able to find the armor now. You could buy it separately on eBay or somewhere, but people on there usually charge outrageous prices for the codes.
