Is the game Dragon Age: Origins worth buying?

I really like RPGs and have seen a new game called dragon age: origins. I would just like some info on the game, is it good or not and what Console should I buy it on as i have read that PC has allot more to offer, is this true. i no u want people who have the game but i personally want to get it. if you have ever played mass effect you will probably like it. also if medieval games with dragons and mages and stuff is your kind of thing than go for it.Is the game Dragon Age: Origins worth buying?
