I was thinking about getting Dragon Age Origins is it worth it?

If you had to compare Dragon Age Origins to another game what would it be? Ive heard Mass Effect is that a fair comparisonI was thinking about getting Dragon Age Origins is it worth it?
It's a very good game. It's very similar to Mass Effect in that you control and manage your party and their actions. You can fight in real time or you can pause them to issue commands. Conversations are also pretty similar. But its different from Mass Effect because in that game, you can actually play the game like a first person shooter and you can't do that with Dragon Age. I think Dragon Age is a bit slower and requires more strategy because there are more enemies and more abilities to worry about.I was thinking about getting Dragon Age Origins is it worth it?
I think Mass Effect would be a good comparison, and so would Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. They're all made by an awesome company, BioWare. Seriously one of the best video game manufacturers ever.
